Vat19 Review

Friday, February 26, 2010 2

I really like Gummie Bears, they are so cute and delicious... especially the red ones.

Don't they look yummy?

Well...  I am sure that they do not taste as good as they look.  Else you enjoy getting your mouth rinsed out with soap.  Thats right these may look like your average Gummy Bears but they are actually Glycerin Soap. The Mini Gummy Bear Soap is the same size, shape, and even smells like the real thing!  They look adorable on my bathroom counter and I can not wait to hear the reactions from our guests.

Mini Gummy Bear soap is available at VAT19 for $6.95 and contains five each of lime, cherry, lemon, orange, and pineapple-scented Gummy Bears.

Even if you're not in the market for Mini Gummie Bear Soap...  Vat19 is still worth checking out. They have many unique and fun items that would make perfect gifts.

Dancing Dingo Luxury Soaps Giveaway.

Monday, December 7, 2009 89

 Still not finished Christmas Shopping?

Don't fret there is still time to grab those last few presents at Dancing dingo. Not only,  do they offer botanical soaps, but they have a large bath and natural skin care product line for the entire family, including a line of baby products and even a natural dog care line.

About Dancing Dingo

Dancing Dingo Luxury Soap was created in Austin, Texas, by Kathy Cumberland Goodwin. Kathy had been in the engineering field for over 20 years, and one day began to notice that her life seemed to be passing by at a greater rate of speed than in previous days. Kathy was secretly burning to discover what in life would make her feel truly happy and fulfilled; what was her passion?

While searching for answers one beautifully starlit Texas night, Kathy was momentarily distracted by Margaret, the Dancing Dingo dog. Margaret happens to be a dog who would rather hop around on her hind legs checking out the world above the floor, than walking on all fours. Looking into Margaret's happy and smiling eyes, Kathy realized her answer: happiness lies in doing what feeds your soul, like Margaret's dog dancing. For Kathy, happiness would be found in having a company that encourages women to treat themselves well and have fun with products that are both natural and good for you!

Today that's what Dancing Dingo Luxury Soap is all about: treating yourself well, both physically and mentally, with natural and good-for-you products. Whether it's soaking in a soothing botanical Bath Tea, or stretching out for a cat nap in crisp cool linen sheets scented with French Lavender Linen Spray, Dancing Dingo is committed to creating scrumptious products that make you feel pampered and glad to be woman. Celebrating our 'Sophistication Unleashed!' motto, Dancing Dingo boasts of products that are good for you and lusciously scented.

Kathy has generously offered to give one lucky Angela' Bits Reader a $25 gift certificate to be used at DancingDingo.com.

I received a beautifully packaged set of deliciously smelling bath products to review, that included Thick & Rich Bubble Bath, Moisturizing Spray Lotion and Travel Perfume. Find out about these great products below.

Thick & Rich Bubble Bath

Taking a nice warm, indulgent bubble bath is a wonderful  luxurious method of relaxation after a rough day. Sweetly You's Thick & Rich Bubble Bath is specially formulated to provide you with a high-end, non-drying, concentrate of bubbles that will actually moisturize your skin as you bathe."

Moisturizing Spray Lotion

"This unique spray lotion with Natural Avocado Oil and Aloe Vera offers your skin quality, effective moisturizing and repair. Moisturizing Spray Lotion is the perfect skin boost after a bath during the winter, at the beach during summer, at the gym, or anywhere your day takes you."

This lotion is great, it is more like a body mist with added moisture. There is absolutely zero stickiness, and it is so light that you do not even feel like you are wearing anything at all.

I received both of these products in Sweetly You's most popular fragrance Pomegrante. This scent is delicious, I love fruity scents and Sweetly You has found the perfect blend, of peach, apple, strawberry , with a touch of vanilla. You literally smell good enough to eat with this yummy fragrance.

Travel Perfume

"1/5 oz solid perfume, with the convenient size of a lip balm jar, is perfect for carrying in your purse or pocket, bringing to the gym, on a night out, and essential for traveling. This unique solid perfume is created with quality Shea Butter and Natural Bees Wax, yet is much less expensive than ordinary spray perfumes."

I received this product in Sweet Pea, it smells so good, that I can not stop smelling my wrist. I even caught myself taking a sniff in the grocery store last night. People probably thought I was crazy but I just couldn't help myself.

I loved everything in my package, Sweetly You would make a great gift this Christmas, with their low prices and great variety, I am sure you could find something for any lady on your list.

Virginia Soaps and Scents *Review and Giveaway*

Tuesday, December 1, 2009 134

I love yummy smelling soaps! I especially love all natural bar soaps.  I was very excited when I received the opportunity to review a selection of products from Virginia Soaps and Scents.

About the Company: Virginia Soaps and Scents is a family run business ran Roy & Richelle Spargur.
"We are a homeschooling family with nine children living in rural Virginia. Our interest in soap making began with a history lesson and developed into an artistic passion.

Our soaps are made with all natural oils – no added chemicals. Each bar is hand cut, so no two are exactly the same. "

Their soaps come in 4.5 oz bars and also smaller hospitality sized .

A few of their many Signature Scents
Lavender - Soothing, healing...
Fresh Orange - Smells fresh squeezed!
Oatmeal, Milk & Honey - A warm scent with real oatmeal.
Coconut Lemongrass - Light and tropical.
Sandalwood - Woodsy, sensuous & exotic.

Bay Rum - A timeless men's fragrance.
Violets & Lace- Turn of the century elegance.
Baby Powder Smells just like the famous baby powder scent we all know and love
Victorian Rose -scent of fresh cut roses infused with real rose petals.

Made with oils of palm, Castor, coconut and soy.

Review

I tried Oatmeal Milk &honey(my favorite), Country Clothsline (husband and the kids favorite), Fresh Orange, and the All -In-One-Soap in Waltzing Matilda.

Oatmeal Milk & Honey- What I really loved about this soap is that it was mild enough to use on my face, it has real little pieces of oatmeal, which slightly exfoliates the skin while cleansing. I was a little bit worried when using the soap on my face, as I said before I have very sensitive skin but I did not receive any breakouts from using this soap nor any of the others.

Country Clothesline- I was a little bit put off by the smell originally, it had a slight hospital sterile smell to it, when I first opened the package. Thankfully it does not smell like that on your skin, it has a light fresh scent instead, that the entire family loved.

Fresh Orange- You know those mornings that you crawl out of bed and immediately want to climb right back in? The Fresh Orange soap is the go to soap to wake your butt up and get you moving. The scent of oranges while not overpowering enlightened my senses, and refreshed my mind and body, getting me ready to face my day.

All in one soap in Waltzing Matilda-

"All-In-One Bars for shampoo, shower and shave, are great for travel, camping, are airline friendly and cut down on shower clutter."
"Waltzing Matilda* comes in our Victoria's Secret Lovespell scent."

I used it first as a shampoo, I did not initially like it, to tell you the truth but found I was simply applying it wrong. I was lathering it in my hands using my hands to wash my hair, while you are suppose to apply by rubbing it through your hair. My hair did not dry out using it as a shampoo and smelled clean but in all honesty; I prefer liquid shampoo instead.

I did love using it to shave though, my razor glided smoothly over my skin, providing a close shave that left my legs silky soft.

I was also able to review their Laundry Soap Kit-  It contains a grated bar of  unscented lard cleaning soap and a pre-measured amount of borax and washing soda. You should get 64-72 loads for less than seven cents per load.

I had always wanted to attempt to make my own laundry soap but feared it would be to hard. It was actually pretty simple to do, by following the included directions.

This kit makes a low sudsing soap, so it works great in front loaders as well as top loading washing machines. The laundry soap is a gel, that smells fresh without a heavy scent, and cleaned our clothes as well as other products we have used.

SoftSoap Nutri Serums review

Monday, November 9, 2009 3

I was recently given the opportunity to try the New Softsoap Nutri Serums nourishing body wash.
It comes in two enriched varieties with the restoring antioxidant Vitamin E or Moisture-Retaining Omega 3 & 6 (essential fatty acids that help strengthen your skin's l protective layer). It is the first body wash infused with softening, nourishing serum pearls that were Inspired by beauty secrets from celebrity skincare facialists.

Pro's
*Beautiful subtle smell
*Leaves skin feeling soft and moisturized
*Affordable pricing
*Available in all major drug and mass retailers (CVS, Walgreens, Walmart etc..)

Con

*Serum a little on the thick side for a body wash, which makes it a little hard to dispense.

Overall.. I really enjoyed this product and would rate it a 4 out of 5
