Growing Tree Toys/ Blast Pad Review

Growing Tree Toys has been changing the way children play by providing them with only the highest quality Educational Toys  for over 30 years. The Blast pad launches missiles high into the sky. You simply hop onto the launch pad and your jump forces air through the launch tube which sends the Booster Pack Missile flying....

And boy do they fly!

I was actually really impressed on how high the missiles flew, we had purchased a different missile launcher last year that didn't go nearly as high and fell apart after using it a few times. Both of my boys had a lot of fun playing with the blast pad and I am sure that they will not tire from it anytime soon.

The kids had a lot of fun making the gummies and enjoyed eating them even more! It only took about 20 minutes from start to finish, not much longer than driving to the store and buying a bag myself and a lot more entertaining also!

Vitalicious Review

Vitalicious sent me a huge Super Sampler Pack that included a box of Deep & Velvety VitaBrownies and 10 different varieties of their Vitatops for review a few weeks back and we are still working on finishing them off.


 My kids didn't really care for muffins very much and only really tried one flavor, they were more fond of the brownies however, and said that they really couldn't notice too much of a difference between them and the ones we buy at the store.

I preferred the VitaTops myself, my favorite flavors are the Triple Chocolate Chunk  and the Fudgy Peanut Butter Chip. I'm not a big fan of "healthy" foods that taste like diet food and I could definitely taste the difference in some of the other flavors, especially the Banana Nut which is usually my favorite. I was surprised however at how filling they are for being only 80-100 calories, and having only 0-2.5 grams of fat.

Since Vitalicious does not use any additives or preservatives they need to be kept frozen in order to stay fresh, so you need to either take them out the night before or heat them in the microwave. I personally liked them better warm anyway so it really wasn't a problem for me but thought it would be worth mentioning.

My Review

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE  the Geri G Cosmetics Mixer, it is the most versatile beauty product that I have ever tried. Want to turn that old eyeshadow into a nice creamy eyeliner... no problem. Don't have a waterproof formula for your favorite mascara... that not a problem anymore this mixer kit can turn any mascara waterproof! 


One of my favorite ways to use the mixer is mixed with my mineral foundation powder, not only does it add a little more coverage without looking caked on...  it gives me a nice natural glow. It can also be used alone as a great moisturizer, makeup primer, or eyelash primer. I have been able to create a ton of new looks with my old makeup, it is impossible for me to list them all. Have I mentioned how much I love this product?

Eco- Friendly Cleaning products that really work: Better Life Giveaway

With all the cleaning products claiming to be "Green" that have been popping up all over the place the last few years, it is hard to know what is really green and what really works. I have had the chance to try out the Better Life’s starter kit over the past couple weeks; Which includes four great eco-friendly cleaning products, loofah sponges and an euro sponge ... I am truly impressed. Not only are they green they actually work.


Since none of their products contain any sulfates, ethoxylates, fragrances, dyes, glycol ethers or alcohols there is no need to worry about breathing in harmful chemicals as we clean and it is safe for the kids to get into the action.

You may have heard me complain a time or two that I am so busy between taking care of my children, working and trying to keep up with my blogging. In all honesty, I have falling short in the house cleaning department as of late... I barely have time to shower much less clean one. 

The Clary Sage and Citrus whatEVER! Spray Cleaner is great because I can use it on almost anything. I have used it all over from my kitchen, bathroom and even inside my car... and it has cleaned everything that I have thrown at it. The scent is very pleasent and light not overpowering at all unlike most cleaners.

Another product that I really like is Simply Floored,  It works great removing all the nastiness from my laminate floors without having to get on my hands and knees to scrub the gunk by hand. I have always hated the smell of most floor cleaners, the strong scents make me sick and give me migranes. Simply Floored is unscented so I can have a clean floor without the headache.. literally.

We used the I Can See Clearly, WOW! window cleaner on the windsheild of both of our vehicles and it has clearly made a difference. Before it was streaked and the glare from oncoming traffic while driving at night was unbearable, now we can actually see and without the glare.

The last product that we recieved was Even the Kitchen sink it is a naturally powerful gentle cleaning scrubber works that works on tubs, tile and grout, toilet bowls, shower doors, ceramic, stovetops, glass cooktops, stainless steel sinks, porcelain, enamel, stone, cultured marble, non-polished solid countertops, & laminate. I have not really used this product but my husband  has used it to clean the toilet and bathroom sink. I can not really comment on the ease of use myself but I can say that their is no residue left behind and our toilet looks almost like new.

I really really love the collapsible 6 compartment cleaning caddy that the products arrived in as well, it makes lugging the products around so much easier and would be perfect for someone who cleans houses for a living. If I had the money I would buy one for everyone I know!

CSN Stores Review

You may remember me telling you a few weeks back about how excited I was that I was going to do a review for CSN Stores.com.  CSN Stores offers a large selection of items for most home and office goods and with over 200 stores and products ranging from kids bedding to Barstools it was very hard for me to choose which item I wanted to review.

I decided to go with a new desk because I had wanted one for some time. My small workstation that I have been using... just wasn't working.

It arrived fairly quickly in a matter of 3-4 days and was extremely quick and easy to put together.  We managed to have the whole thing set up in less than 30 minutes and the majority of that time was deciding on where to put it.

When I was ordering the desk I was a little leery about it's sturdiness since it  is made of glass but it actually seems quite durable and I believe it will last a long time. The List Price of this desk is: $200.00 but CSN is selling it for $65.99 with free shipping and it is worth every penny. I have purchased more expensive poorly made desk in the past and they have not stood the test of time.


No matter if it's a piece of furniture or an appliance that you're looking for, you should check for it at CSN  first, as there's a good chance that they carry it and at a fair price.

My Thoughts

Dr. Lee Graciously sent me some UGlee Pens to review. While it is an unique looking pen, it is not as near as bad as the name suggest.  The grip on the UGLee pen covers a huge portion of the pen itself right down to the tip and I found it to be very comfortable in my hand. It was not only easy to hold but also easy to write with it, because the ink flows nicely it makes writing with it very smooth. You do not have to apply pressure to the pen, to get it to write.

All in all I think it is a fabulous pen, it really impressed me with its comfort and smooth writing... and  even though it may not look like much, this pen has quickly become on of my favorites.

LTDchix Review

Did you know On average a person will use over 350 bags in a  year? A good reusable bag can save up to 700 plastic bags over the span of their lifetime.

I think by now we are all aware of the need to take better care of our planet. Do not get me wrong I am not claiming to be the greenest  person by far, but I believe that every little bit helps. 

Scientist believe that it would take 500-1,000 years for one plastic bag to biodegrade. That's a really really long time. By using reusable bags we can each do our part to protect are planet.

The creative and very fun ladies at LTDchix have come up with  their own reusable shopping bags! They are currently available in Shopping Mom in White or Royal blue and Yoga Mom in Lime and Tan.  I had the pleasure of receiving two of these bags to review...

The first thing that caught my eye was the bright fun graphics, and bold colors... but what really impressed me was the size of the bag. It is fairly bigger than most of the bags I own, and I could easily fit twice as many items into one of these bags than two of the store bags. They seem to be quite durable as well.

Green Toys Review

I have heard about Green Toys  on other blogs and  have heard great things about their products. So, I was so excited when Green Toys gave me the opportunity to review their Green Toys Dish Set myself.

I fully intended to have my niece help me with this review but when L.C my eight year old saw them, he insisted on keeping them for himself. To tell you the truth, I was honestly a little shocked by that but he seems to enjoy them.

I recently had the opportunity to try Coconut Pouchong by Golden Moon Tea. I wasn't quite sure what Pouchong even was before trying this tea. Honestly, I had to google it to find out. What I found is that it is a very lightly oxidized tea somewhere between green tea and what is usually considered oolong tea. I must tell you that it is Really Really good!

As I was opening the tin of Coconut Pouchong, I was immediately enveloped in the rich sweet smell of coconut. The large, fresh, green leaves were in perfect condition no broken leaves or tips at all. The aroma while brewing was even more amazing, but nothing compared to the taste of the tea itself.

My Review

I have been exclusively using these products over the last month, when I first started using them I experienced a major reaction. I'm not sure if it was directly caused by the products or not but it was not pretty... but after using them for about a week and a half my skin was showing major improvements in clarity and texture. I can not remember a time that my face has felt as soft as it is right now... I am very happy with the results!

My favorite product is the moisturizer, my skin gets very dry in the winter and I have to cake on the moisturizer. Not with this product tho, you only need a very small amount and it is very light,absorbs quickly and completely. I can wear it alone or under make-up and not feel like I am wearing a mask.
