ZipBins Giveaway!

Friday, December 3, 2010 64

If you've never stopped on a Lego, believe me when I tell you that it is something that you never want to do. It seems if my kids leave a single lego anywhere in my house my feet will find a way to step on it. It's not a fun experience at all.

If you are wondering why I am telling you all about my Lego woes today, it's because I recently learned about a new product called ZipBins. Zip Bins are play mats that zip into storage containers.  They were designed by a mom and son who came up with the idea “What if Max’s toy bin unzipped to a play mat and zipped back up, capturing his toys?” That is exactly what ZipBin does.

Zip Bins come in many varieties, Hot Wheels, Lego's, Plastic dinosaurs and dolls to name just a few. I must tell you that I was at Toys R Us Friday and these things were flying off the shelf, I went back on Monday and they were already out of the Lego and Hot Wheels Zip Bin Products

Luckily for me, I was sent the Hot Wheels ZipBin Tool Box in order to review... and I must admit that I am impressed. The Hot Wheels ZipBin Tool Box is a tote, shaped like a mechanic's tool box.  It is a soft sided case that unzips into a work shop garage for tuning cars.  It easily can hold 50 cars and plenty of tracks. This may sound silly, but what I really like is that there is a car included. I know I can purchase them for 99 cents at the store but I like that I don't have too.

Since they are portable, they can easily travel with your child almost anywhere. It would be perfect for the overnight trip to Grandma's or on your family vacations.

ZipBins can be purchased online at glammatoys.com, with prices starting around $9.00.

Piggy Paint Giveaway!

Last year I had the opportunity to review Piggy Paint for my niece, she fell in love with it right away. So, when given the chance to host a review/giveaway for Piggy Paint Project Earth I jumped right on board.

Piggy Paint's "Project Earth” nail polishes are formulated for tweens concerned about Mother Earth.

They come in 6 fun colors with equally fun names such as Solar power, Drama ,Eat Your Peace, The Boyfriend Blues, lol and radioactive.

We were sent Project Earth LOL  and Radioactive in order to review LOL is a fun & bright Neon Magenta color that I'm sure my niece will love!

Radioactive is usually not a word that I would associate with eco-friendly and natural products but  in my opinion it is really cool.  It is almost a translucent color that glows in the dark; It can be used alone or added as a top coat. Since, I will not have the chance to see my niece until Monday, I decided I had to give this one a try for myself and it really does glow.

Piggy Paint would make perfect stocking stuffers for the young ladies on your shopping list this season. You can Purchase Piggy Paint online at PiggyPaint.com! Enter the code ABITS10L at checkout for an additional 10% any item in their store. (Including sale items)
