ZipBins Giveaway!

If you've never stopped on a Lego, believe me when I tell you that it is something that you never want to do. It seems if my kids leave a single lego anywhere in my house my feet will find a way to step on it. It's not a fun experience at all.

If you are wondering why I am telling you all about my Lego woes today, it's because I recently learned about a new product called ZipBins. Zip Bins are play mats that zip into storage containers.  They were designed by a mom and son who came up with the idea “What if Max’s toy bin unzipped to a play mat and zipped back up, capturing his toys?” That is exactly what ZipBin does. 

Zip Bins come in many varieties, Hot Wheels, Lego's, Plastic dinosaurs and dolls to name just a few. I must tell you that I was at Toys R Us Friday and these things were flying off the shelf, I went back on Monday and they were already out of the Lego and Hot Wheels Zip Bin Products. 

Luckily for me, I was sent the Hot Wheels ZipBin Tool Box in order to review... and I must admit that I am impressed. The Hot Wheels ZipBin Tool Box is a tote, shaped like a mechanic's tool box.  It is a soft sided case that unzips into a work shop garage for tuning cars.  It easily can hold 50 cars and plenty of tracks. This may sound silly, but what I really like is that there is a car included. I know I can purchase them for 99 cents at the store but I like that I don't have too.

Since they are portable, they can easily travel with your child almost anywhere. It would be perfect for the overnight trip to Grandma's or on your family vacations.

Piggy Paint Giveaway!

Journal Buddies Giveaway!

A couple months back I came across Journal Buddies online and the concept really appealed to me. We all want our children to grow up to be happy, confident, self sufficient adults; Building strong self esteem when they are young plays a significant role in how they will feel about themselves later in life.

Review

Yogurt doesn't last very long in our house, the kids gobble it right up and YoCrunch was no exception. We had the opportunity to try the Strawberry with granola crunch and the kids loved it, I am usually very picky when it comes to yogurt but I must say that I also found it very good.  The smooth creaminess of the yougurt combined wuth the crunchy granola was a fantastic combination and contrasted perfectly.  With only 100 calories this great tasting snack is also very healthy which always is a big plus.

I am always on the lookout for cute stylish clothing that doesn't break the bank and I have definitely found it with DownEast Basics. They have recently launched their spring collection and I have to say that I love it. I received the Meet in the Middle top for review and it is so cute and comfortable and at $22.99 you really cannot go wrong.

I really love the Gathered top section with its fitted bodice but what makes this shirt special is the back.

I have a top simillair to this one that is very uncomfortable the crocheting is rough and doesn't have any give. Everything about this shirt is comfortable including the back, I could live in it! This top is available in sizes XS-XL and seems to run slightly big, I would suggest going with a size smaller than you would regularly wear.

SodaStream Giveaway!

You may remember me telling you that I was addicted to soda a few weeks back; So, when I came across a giveaway for a SodaStream system a few months back, I was highly intrigued I knew I had to have one for myself.

I must have entered that giveaway a hundred times to no avail... That's why I was so excited when SodaStream decided to let me do my own review and giveaway right here on Angela's Bits.. That's right one of you lucky ducks are going to win on of these babies for yourself!

SodaStream is a complete carbonated soda making system for your home thats comes in a variety of colors and models, and a large variety of flavor options. Using ordinary tap water, SodaStream lets you  create the beverage of your choice by simply adding the fizz then flavor - Sounds simple doesn't it? Well it is!

I was sent the Fountain Jet Starter Kit to review, it comes in three different colors, white, red or black, and is available for $99.99 at SodaStreamUSA. This package includes everything you need to make great tasting soda in your own home, 1 60 liter Carbonator, 2 Carbonating Bottles, 2 SodaMix flavors that  makes 12 liters of soda and of course the Fountain Jet Home Soda Maker.  SodaStream were also nice enough to add in several other flavors with my kit as well as 3 water essenses.

I was a little worried that  setting up the machine was going to be a real chore but it was actually quite easy to do, all there was to it was inserting the provided carbonator into the slot found on the back of the machine, then fill the  carbonating bottles with cold water, then simply press the button in short, firm bursts,(one buzz for "light carbonation", three for "average carbonation", or more for whatever fizziness you desire) add in whichever flavor you want and give it a couple gentle shakes and your done!

Rubbermaid... Get Organizing giveaway!

Now that is officially Spring (I know... I know a little late) it's time for a little thing known as spring cleaning. Some people love it, I personally hate it but one thing for sure it is most definitely needed around here.

Rubbermaid sent me a six piece, interlocking drawer organizer set to help me get a jumpstart on organizing my kitchen starting with my junk drawer.   And honestly it was a hot mess. (As you will see below)

O.K so it still looks like a junk drawer but at least it is a clean and organized one... Right?

My Review

Since my junk drawer is probably the smallest narrowest drawer in my home, the fact that all of these pieces are seperate and can be played with to accommodate any size drawer is awesome! I was able to easily fit in all of the junk that was needed and get rid of a lot that wasn't.
