Walgreens Digital TempleTouch Thermometer Review

I recently had an opportunity to try out the new TempleTouch Thermometer, thanks to MomSelect. 

Temple Touch is powered by proprietary technology.

*Uses patented  R.A.TE.  technology (Rapid, Accurate, Temperature, Establishment) to measure   temperature.
*safer than mercury thermometers.  
*less invasive with faster results than digital stick thermometers.

*Over dose protection timer that alerts the user when it is safe to give another Medicine dose

I honestly have mixed emotions about this product, I love the fact that is has a built in Over dose protection timer. However, I have doubts on its accuracy. I tested the thermometer on both of my sons several times, never getting the same result. I find it a tad bit hard to believe that within 3 minutes their temperature would fluctuate from 97.5 to 98.5 then up to 100.3 just a few minutes later. In conclusion, I would not feel comfortable using this thermometer if my child was to became sick and I can not in good faith suggest that you do either.
