Sucre Review and Valentine's Day Giveaway

The gift of chocolate is one of the oldest and most popular Valentine's day gifts, and for good reason. Once considered a gift of the gods, chocolate contains aphrodisiac properties that awaken ones senses and tantalizes your taste buds. When giving the gift of chocolate you should not settle on anything but the best, quality matters. Sucré New Orleans on Magazine Street creates beautiful, delicious chocolates and sweets!  They are known for their hand-crafted artisan chocolates as well as their delectable pastries and French Macaroons. They have been acknowledged in several high profile publications including The New York Times, Paula Deens Best Deserts, and O amongst many others. Not bad for a business not even three years old.

 I was sent the delicious For the Love of Chocolate Collection (Pictured above) "Rich dark chocolate ganache blended with sweet red raspberries in a shimmery heart shell" that literally melts in your mouth. I really enjoyed these chocolates from start to "the finish", you could tell that they were high quality; the texture was creamy and not grainy. Not only were the chocolates very good, the presentation was very elegant, sophisticated green boxes tied with a beautiful brown bow.
