Uglee Pen Review and Giveaway

Tuesday, January 19, 2010
A good pen is one of the simple things in life that I enjoy, I am not sure why but pencils and dollar store pens just does not cut it for me. When looking for a new pen, I concentrate on comfort. I have freakishly small hands, which make it awkward for me to hold some pens comfortably. Since I do most of my writing by hand comfort is key. When I heard about the UGlee Pen, I knew this was a pen I needed to try for myself.

Product Description

WEIGHT
The UGLee Pen only weights 11 grams. That is less than 1/2 once! Less mass, means less inertia, more comfort.

FULL SIZE GRIP
Ultimate comfort! The overall shape as well as the detailed contours are perfectly engineered to follow the anatomy of the hand. You don't have to grip this material, it grips you.

INK
The UGLee Pen is mated with the smoothest ink system known, smoother than any roller ball, gel ink, or fountain ink pen.

About Dr. Lee - The creator of UGLee Pen

Dr. Lee received his BS in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University and his MD from Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Lee has done his share of writing throughout his academic and professional life. All of the writing required by medical school and physician training took its toll. After trying just about every pen and failing to find a truly comfortable one, Dr. Lee was determined to create his own. Known to even fire his own clay pens, Dr. Lee has experimented with just about every combination of shape, texture, material, and ink mixtures in search of the optimum combination for the "Perfect Pen." The result is the UGLee Pen. A pen that is not only the most comfortable pen,but is physician designed to be the most comfortable "ergonomic pen " around.

My Thoughts

Dr. Lee Graciously sent me some UGlee Pens to review. While it is an unique looking pen, it is not as near as bad as the name suggest.  The grip on the UGLee pen covers a huge portion of the pen itself right down to the tip and I found it to be very comfortable in my hand. It was not only easy to hold but also easy to write with it, because the ink flows nicely it makes writing with it very smooth. You do not have to apply pressure to the pen, to get it to write.

All in all I think it is a fabulous pen, it really impressed me with its comfort and smooth writing... and  even though it may not look like much, this pen has quickly become on of my favorites.

If you would like to try this "Comfort Pen" out for yourself, you can do so by ordering on line at UGleepen.com

The easy flow ink you report in your review is enticing to me. As a lefty it is tough to find a good pen that writes consistently - meaning I don't have to go back over some of my letters.

I found out that the "UGLEE" name was created by combining: 'UG' for Ultimate Grip and 'Lee' for Dr. Lee.

I'd get a pink pen. Then I could be sure my husband wouldn't "borrow" it and forget where he put it - grrrr!
