One of my favorite drinks as a child was milk but not just any milk... chocolate milk. It's creamy chocolately goodness was always a treat no matter the time of day.

CSN Stores Review

You may remember me telling you a few weeks back about how excited I was that I was going to do a review for CSN Stores.com.  CSN Stores offers a large selection of items for most home and office goods and with over 200 stores and products ranging from kids bedding to Barstools it was very hard for me to choose which item I wanted to review.

I decided to go with a new desk because I had wanted one for some time. My small workstation that I have been using... just wasn't working.

I quickly found what I was looking for at CSN.com... A beautiful, modern desk that has plenty of room for writing as well as holding all my necessary materials.

It arrived fairly quickly in a matter of 3-4 days and was extremely quick and easy to put together.  We managed to have the whole thing set up in less than 30 minutes and the majority of that time was deciding on where to put it.

When I was ordering the desk I was a little leery about it's sturdiness since it  is made of glass but it actually seems quite durable and I believe it will last a long time. The List Price of this desk is: $200.00 but CSN is selling it for $65.99 with free shipping and it is worth every penny. I have purchased more expensive poorly made desk in the past and they have not stood the test of time.


No matter if it's a piece of furniture or an appliance that you're looking for, you should check for it at CSN  first, as there's a good chance that they carry it and at a fair price.

Student of the Month!

I know that it is unattractive to brag but....

I am so proud of  L.C that I have to! He has been selected as the February Student of the month at his elementary school! They surprised him with a special breakfast of donuts and juice and presented him with a badge this morning. 

He was really behind when he came to this school;  They have way higher standards than the one he attended previously that he never seemed to be able to catch up.  That was just over a year ago, and now he is getting A's and B's!

As a mother... I am always on the look-out for healthy snack choices for my children. Fruit is always a popular choice not just amongst the kids but by us adults as well. Another nice thing about this eyeshadow is that whether I use it has an eyeliner or shadow, it stays fresh all day long. There is no need to reapply! 

 

Currant Satin Blush- Satin Collection cool pink matte mineral blush.

 

This blush is a very pretty shade of pink, and it goes on silky smooth giving me a nice natural glow. A little bit goes a long way, a light dusting is all you need to liven up your checks and like the eyeshadow it stays fresh all day.

Sea Shell Mineral Foundation Powder- Formulated for lighter coverage for fair skin tone. It has neutral ivory color.Use it as a facial powder or as a foundation by adding more thin layers. 

 

I am not a huge foundation fan at all... I can never get it to blend perfectly into my skin and always end up looking like a clown.  I haven't had any problems applying this foundation it is very light and doesn't look caked on. If you are like me and have trouble with foundation, I would recommend that you give it a try.

My Addiction to Cola: Zevia All Natural Soda Giveaway!

 I am addicted to soda, and my addiction shows through my always expanding waistline. I can not go a day without it and to be completely honest, you wouldn't want to be around me if I tried. In my quest to live a healthier lifestyle I decided it was time to slow down on the Coke...don't go there, I'm talking Coca-Cola here and tried changing it out with Diet. I am not a huge diet soda fan and it was hard finding one that I actually liked.



When I came across a review for Zevia an all-natural diet soda while doing my daily blog reading. The blogger (for the life of me I can not remember who) was boasting about  how delicious it was and how it had replaced her diet soda. This immediately sparked my interest.. maybe just maybe this was the soda for me. I contacted Zevia a few days later and asked if they would be interested in sponsoring a review. Not only did they oblige but the also wanted to hold a fun giveaway for all of you! More on that later...

Much to my surprise...  I wasn't a huge fan of the cola. In all fairness that  may be  because I am so used to the high sugar, caffeine fueled variety The orange and the Black cherry were a completely different story I absolutely love them both. The kids really liked the Natural Twist, I managed to swipe a drink of one of theirs (you know for review purposes).  It didn't have a diet taste at all and is definitely something I would allow my kids to drink.

While I don't think I am fully able to give up my addiction, I will definitely purchase Zevia in the future. Zevia can be purchased online for  $23.99 a case and can also be found in select retail stores.
